One cafe in England has proved to be the master of finding the silver lining in any situation.
After one woman left a 1-star review on TripAdvisor claiming that Nook Neighbourhood Coffee had served her 'undercooked' porridge.
When she sent the porridge back to the kitchen to be fixed, she was then served undercooked porridge once again.
Her review states that, because of this experience, she will not be returning to Nook ever again.
While the cafe did reply to this review online, they decided to give it a moment in the spotlight of sorts in front of the shop.
Staffers placed a chalkboard outside that read, "Come in & try the worst porridge that one woman on TripAdvisor had in her life."
This hilarious gesture brought a ton of positive attention to the cafe for their sense of humor in dealing with the negativity that often comes from internet comments.

After a less-than-satisfying trip to Nook Neighbourhood Coffee in Stockport, England, one woman took to TripAdvisor and posted a 1-star review of the cafe on the site. In it, she tears about the porridge and says that she will never return.

The porridge in question was said to be undercooked not once, but twice by the kitchen staff.

While a Nook team member politely responded to the review online, other staffers took matters into their own hands in the form of a hilarious chalkboard message.

The chalkboard post prompted people to come in and "try the worst porridge one woman on TripAdvisor had in her life." Talk about turning lemons into lemonade.

To be fair, Nook has a reputation for witty chalkboard posts relating to their food and drinks.

But this time their chalkboard message truly is doing its job. The cafe is referring to the attention surrounding the post as #porridgeagate and, judging by the news coverage of the story, it hasn't been bad for business at all.
