Teen Farmer Takes Girlfriend To Top Of Hill, But She Has No Clue He Carved Message In Land Below

Prom season brings out a lot of creative and shocking promposals. But every once in a while, it's good to see someone get down and dirty with their idea.

If a promposal involves a tractor, you kind of know that it's going to be a good one!

For anyone else, this kind of promposal might be pretty tough to pull off — but not for Carl Ehrke!

"I've always kind of wanted to do that kind of thing, even before I was seeing her. I was just kinda like, 'If I get a girlfriend, I want to do something special,'" said Carl, who is a junior at Jefferson High School in Wisconsin.

Carl comes from a farming family. To him, tractors are no big deal. A trusty tractor and some land were exactly the things he needed to pull off his idea for a sweet surprise for his girlfriend, Audrey Pelikan.

With help from a friend and his trusty trailer, Carl was able to create exactly what he'd envisioned in his mind.

"We went out there and kinda eyed out the piece of land, and I had a friend stand on top of the hill and he told me which way to go — a little bit this way, that way — to keep it even," he said.

And just what was waiting for Audrey on that piece of land?
