You may remember watching a video pop up in your feed sometime in the last couple of weeks — a mountain lion ventured up to the sliding glass door of a backyard and was met with staggering fury by the family's cat, who seemed to believe that he had the size and strength to take on the larger beast.
Well that video is back, but this time with a voiceover from our favorite video narrator, Chris Cohen. You'll remember him from his hilarious spins on dialogue between a sneaky cat hypnotizing her dog friend, or a cat vs. dog poolside showdown for the ages. Each one appropriates a classic viral animal video and mixes in his signature wit and hilarity. The one below is no exception to this marvelous trend.
This time, rather than this house cat taking a mystery mountain lion to task, we get a funny exchange about how a cat might open a sliding glass door without opposable thumbs in a very wolf-at-your-doorstep setup. All's cordial until the mountain lion bows out with an "Honestly, it was a misunderstanding, my friend." When a second house cat joins the frame, we hear, "I don't know who that is, but I think we should call the police." It's all absurd and wonderfully silly.
