1. Chris Evans
Captain America himself, Chris Evans, adopted his dog Dodger while filming the movie Gifted in Georgia.
During a scene shot in a dog shelter, he was "walking up and the down aisles and saw this one dude, and he didn't belong there," he told People. "I snagged him, and he's such a good dog."
Chris constantly posts about Dodger on his social media accounts. Recently, while he was away filming for 10 weeks, he counted down the days until his reunion with his furry son and posted their happy reunion on Twitter.
2. Patrick Stewart
When Sir Patrick Stewart took in his foster dog, a pit bull named Ginger, it was love at first lick.
Patrick and Ginger did everything together, from nap on the couch to swim in the pool. Despite his busy filming schedule, the actor always had time for his furry girl, who he said brought "so much love to our lives."
Unfortunately, because laws in the United Kingdom prevent people from owning pit bulls, Patrick had to give Ginger back to the shelter, but he continues to fight to overturn the laws that separate them.
3. Hilary Duff
Back in May, Hilary Duff announced the addition of a new member to her family: a rescue dog!
Momo, initially known as Mojito, was adopted from the Los Angeles-based rescue group Love Leo Rescue. "Thank you for this sweet addition," Hilary wrote to the shelter on Instagram.
4. Reese Witherspoon
In addition to three children, Reese Witherspoon also has several furry kids, including a French bulldog named Pepper and a chocolate Lab named Hank.
On her Instagram, Reese constantly posts photos of Pepper, Hank, and her other pups lounging, sunbathing, and photobombing her red carpet shots.
5. Hugh Jackman
He may play a fierce mutant in X-Men, but in real life Hugh Jackman is a warm, loving father to his two dogs, Dali and Allegra.
Like any good dad, Hugh enjoys relaxing with his pups and taking them for their daily walks.
6. Zac Efron
Zac Efron isn't afraid of a little puppy slobber.
The Neighbors actor is the proud father of Chappelle and Australian shepherd Dreamer. In August 2016, his third dog, named Puppy, sadly passed away. Zac posted a heartfelt tribute to his furry friend on Instagram.
"Through thick and thin you've always been my best friend," wrote Zac. "I'll see you at the finish line."
7. Jeff Goldblum
Jeff Goldblum's poodle, Woody Allen, lives a good life. Not only is his dad Jeff Goldblum, he's also in a long-term relationship with a whippet named Twiggy — and has better hair than most humans.

The Legend household is filled to the brim with dogs.
Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are parents to Pippa, Puddy, Penny, and Puey: four bulldogs that love to beg for food and jog with their dad.

Drew Barrymore is a self-proclaimed #dogperson, at least according to Instagram. Her feed is filled with pictures of Douglas and Lucy, her two adorable fur babies, doing everything from going on vacation to riding in the car.
