In the past, people searched for their missed love connections by scrolling through the phone book, or by posting an ad in the newspaper.
Now, thanks to the internet, it's a lot easier to find people without having to physically track them down. That is, unless you swipe the wrong way on a dating app.
Missouri State University student Hayden Moll was using Tinder when he came across a woman he was most definitely interested in.
Of note, on Tinder, you swipe right if you are interested in someone, and left if you aren't. Sometimes, it can be easy to swipe the wrong way if you're not paying attention, or make a silly mistake.
Hayden came across a profile for Claudia, who he meant to swipe right on with all of his heart. Unfortunately, he swiped left and she was gone forever.
However, Hayden wasn't ready to give up quite yet, and took a very creative and clever approach on his hunt to find Claudia.

This is Claudia, she's eighteen years old and is a student at Missouri State University.
She is also the girl who Hayden began pining for after when he accidentally swiped the wrong way on Tinder.
You see, when Hayden came across Claudia's profile, he had every intention of swiping right for "yes," but his fingers seemed to have failed him.
Hayden wasn't ready to give up, and decided instead, to send a mass email to every person named Claudia at Missouri State University.
Bear in mind, Missouri State has a total enrollment of about 26,000 people, meaning there were over 40 potential Claudias to choose from.
Hayden was not shy about telling all of the Claudias how he felt, or about admitting that he made a huge mistake.
Luckily, the Claudia of interest identified herself, and a modern love story was born.
Hayden has even updated his Tinder profile to point to his claim to fame. Namely, that he, "Emailed a few Claudias."
The humor was not lost on Hayden, who has clearly been keeping track of Claudia on Tinder ever since he found her.
