Bill Claypool calls himself a "repurposer." He looks on Craigslist, at garage sales, even in the trash for items he can refine, refinish, and repurpose. Bill also happens to be a bit of a Coca-Cola fan. When he stumbled upon an old TV cabinet, he wasn't sure what to do with it. Typically folks turn them into aquariums or dog beds, but he wanted to do something different. That's when he decided to add his love of Coke into the mix. Bill had just painted a countertop with the company's logo. Once he sat it on top of the cabinet, the wheels began turning.
With a few modifications and coats of paint, Bill turned the television cabinet into a full-blown Coca-Cola bar. He added the counter top, removed the side panels and turned them into storage, and added a can holder and, of course, a classic, cherry red Coca-Cola fridge. The end result is a pretty cool bar fit for any kitchen, she shed, or man cave. Above all else, it's one heck of a conversation starter!
"Whenever you do something that's never been done before, there's no blueprints… I can see it in my head, and I know what it's going to look like," he says.
