This past Sunday, a woman named Kyle saw a homeless man perched outside the courthouse, sitting in the rain, hungry. The man, Eric, was holding a sign that said anything helped, so she asked if she could buy him breakfast. Kyle said she wanted to show her young son the importance of being kind.
So, Kyle walked into a nearby bagel shop, brought Eric some food and went back inside to eat. That's when she saw Officer Danielle Coonradt sitting down with Eric to have her breakfast. Officer Coonradt and Eric enjoyed a quiet conversation and talked about his situation. "She said she’s usually just in her car during breakfast,” he told NEWS10.
From inside the bagel shop, Kyle took a picture of the soon-to-be viral moment, and shared it on Facebook. “Hopefully, if everyone does a little bit more for the less fortunate, we would have a better society,” Kyle says.
