Couple Forced Apart As Teens Reunite After 53 Years, Find Daughter Given Up For Adoption

This story should be made into a movie!

Back in 1961, Denny and Karen Vinar were teenagers in the midst of falling in love. But when Karen got pregnant at 15 years old, everything changed.

Karen was placed at a home for unwed mothers by her disapproving family. After the young couple from Minneapolis had their baby girl, Karen and Denny held their daughter for an hour before the baby was placed for adoption.

Karen and Denny were forced apart from her … and from each other.

Denny went on to join the military as Karen went off to college. They never stopped thinking about one another and what could have been.

For the next 53 years, they both lived completely separate lives.

Then, in 2014, Denny simply couldn't take it anymore; he knew he needed to find Karen and see what her life had become. He ended up tracking her down on social media — and it was like no time had passed at all.

The feelings were still there, and they were stronger than ever.

Denny quickly flew out to see Karen, and within days, they were married.

At long last, their love story had come full circle. But there was still one major piece missing from their puzzle.
