Rescuers Fight Off Bulls To Save Trapped Cow

To me, animal rescuers are some of the most admirable people there are. They are constantly putting their own necks on the line to save helpless animals, and most of the time they don't get much in return.

Because a majority of their rescues are for wild animals, they can't just say commands like you would to a cat or a dog. They have to get right up in the trenches with these animals when they have gotten themselves stuck or wounded, and sometimes the animals are so scared that they panic and attack what they assume is a predator trying to hurt them further.

Rescuers take bites, kicks, scratches and more. When they finally are able to release the animal back into the wild, they don't even get so much as a "thank you."

We have seen the people at Wildlife Aid go to great lengths, climbing fences and getting beaten up by the animals, but they always come back because they truly love what they do.

In this video we see a group of veteran RSPCA rescuers who walk into very dangerous territory when they attempt to save a cow who has become wedged between two trees. Not only do they have to help a very large and scared animal out of a very tight spot, but they also have to face the bulls surrounding them on either side!

While it's pretty clear the bulls are only charging the rescuers because they are worried for their friend, it is still pretty scary to see those giant horns come racing towards you.

Luckily these awesome rescuers are good at the job they love, and only have to use a little water to keep these cow bodyguards at bay!
