It's always scary to see an emergency situation taking place right before your eyes. You can never be sure how you will react. Will you spring into action and save the day? Or will the situation overwhelm you and leave you frozen in place?

Restaurant manager Blade Graham was able to prove himself a hero when the time came.
Graham was working a normal shift at Petrow's Restaurant in Omaha when the night took a scary turn.
Customer Laura Copeland was out to eat for the very first time since suffering a stroke in July when she began choking on a piece of prime rib.
That's when Graham sprang into action and administered the Heimlich maneuver.
Though Copeland lost consciousness, she was breathing when paramedics came in and took her away.
Doctors later told her that she'd died for about two minutes during the ordeal. She has since recovered and was released from the hospital.
In her first meeting with Graham since the incident, Copeland thanked him for saving her life.
