Going to work with your parents isn't always the most fun way to spend the day as a kid. It always seems like a good idea at the time, like it might be a nice change of pace from the swing set and the sandbox. But about an hour or two into the workday, the novelty of it all wears off, and one feeling dominates all of the others. That feeling is boredom, plain and simple.
It's important for parents in this particular situation to do something, anything to save the day from being a complete disaster. Work is tough enough, no need to bring an unhappy kid into it. For this dad, dance was the answer when his daughter starts to look a little less than thrilled while driving around in his work van.
It was the obvious choice, really. It reminds me of this dad who performs an incredible dance in the living room with his young daughter, and this father who decided to dance around with his 6-month-old. Dads and daughters really do make the best dance partners!
