It's every child's dream to have their own personal playground right outside their door. Whenever the sun is out, they can literally step right outside, climb onto a swing, and feel like they're flying. They can climb a ladder to the second floor of a fort and pretend they're a pirate on the wide open sea, searching for treasure. When they're young and their imaginations are running wild, a backyard fort can open up literally entire worlds of possibility.
When this great dad wanted to give his children an awesome structure on which they could let their wildest dreams run free, he didn't hop online to purchase a premade model. No sir.
He headed straight into his very own garage, grabbed a ruler and some other simple tools, and got straight to work building one from scratch.
With the help of his own father, they construct an incredible fort, piece by piece. The outcome is greater than I could have ever dreamed up on my own, that's for sure. In just three minutes of GoPro footage, you see hours and hours of work that went into creating something so special for his kids.
The yard improved so much for these kids once the final structure went up. They are so lucky to have these men as their father and grandfather.
