This is a frightening example of road rage. Ryan Naso was driving down the expressway in New York with his two sons, ages 9 and 11, in the back seat.
Ryan, a retired Coast Guard vet, was startled when another driver sideswiped his vehicle. Both drivers pulled over to see if there was any damage, but the other driver seemed convinced it was all Ryan's fault. He reacted quickly with anger and aggression.
"There was no talking to him at that point,” Ryan told Inside Edition.
Ryan told the driver he wasn't going to pay for the damage because it wasn't his fault. But this only pushed the driver to the edge.
Suddenly, the man ran up to Ryan's car wielding a baseball bat.
“You're not going to pay for my car?!” he asked as he swung the bat into Ryan's windshield, shattering the glass and sending broken pieces everywhere.
Ryan's sons were terrified as they witnessed the violent act.
It seemed the kids' reaction was enough to make the angry driver take a step back.
