There are a lot of important milestones for every child. Their first steps, their first word, and of course, the first time they see the original Star Wars trilogy! Okay, that last one might not be quite as universal as the first two, but it definitely was in my home. I still remember the first time I saw Luke and Leia's kiss. I couldn't help but cringe and I didn't even know the twist yet! I was just 5 years old and knew boys had cooties, obviously.
Those three films are full of some of cinema's most iconic moments, including the (often misquoted) revelation about who is really Luke's father. Hopefully none of you are worried about spoilers, but rest assured I won't give away any details from the newest film. However, if you've somehow managed to steer clear of this particular tidbit over the years since the premiere of The Empire Strikes Back in 1980, well, you'll know exactly how this little girl feels when she hears the shocking info about everybody's favorite Jedi.
During this scene from the franchise's second installment, we discover that Luke Skywalker is in fact Darth Vader's son. The stunning confession from the man in black caused lots of waves with fans back in the day, and it's so fun to see that happen again for a whole new generation. Watching the moment with her dad, little Annabella is so surprised by the news that she reacts in the most hilarious way. You have to watch her face until the very end, it's just so good!
