Elderly Widower Picking Up Husband’s Ashes Gets A Flat Late At Night So Cop Pays For New Tire

Sometimes, small acts of kindness can make a huge difference in a person's day. Anything from a warm smile to a friendly handshake can lift the darkest of moods!

That's just one of the reasons it's important to always be kind to strangers: You never know what a person is going through.

One deputy may or may not have known that a woman he had just met was grieving, but his small act of kindness is going viral nonetheless!

Mike Kearns is a deputy with the Clayton County Police Department, and he was working with his partner when an elderly woman needed assistance.

As it turns out, she was driving home after picking up her recently deceased husband's ashes.

Mike and his partner helped change her tire — and even paid for it with their own money. What a generous gesture!
