Mom Finds Twin Daughters’ Photos Online, Then Realizes Stranger Is Pretending They’re Her Babies

With technology nowadays, nothing seems private, and a lot is at stake when you post anything online.

Photos, comments, even some searches you type in can be saved forever on the web. Even after you try to delete them to the naked eye, they can sometimes still be found.

Which is why we all should be careful when we post what we might think to be innocent photos that will remain ours and are only being shared out of love and pride.

April thought she was doing just that when she shared photos of her twins, Sofia and Vivianne, but she found herself in a digital nightmare.

After sharing the beautiful photos of her little girls on Facebook, someone contacted her to tell her that a stranger was stealing them.

The stranger, Ashley, pretends the photos are her own and built an entire storyline and life around them. It's so extreme that she has their photos printed and in frames around her home.

While April and her husband tried to press charges to stop this woman from continuing her obsession and fantasy, authorities didn't do much. April worries that this woman could break into her home to try to make her dreams come to life, and she desperately wants to be free of this "digital kidnapping."

While her story continues, let's hope she gets peace of mind soon! We can all use this as a huge reminder to protect ourselves and our loved ones, even online.

Please SHARE this story with all your loved ones today to warn them about this possible online danger!
