Whether you realize it or not, sometimes the dog that you decide to take home can speak volumes on who you are. Studies have shown that that feeling you have the moment you lock eyes with a certain breed, might actually be more than just love at first sight. Subconsciously, you might be picking a dog that suits perfectly for the kind of person you are.
Our friends over at Buzzfeed dug a little deeper into that notion and found that there are certain breeds that go perfectly with particular types of people. A lot extroverts, for example, own Bulldogs and creative people generally own Italian Greyhounds or Poodles.
Sometimes it's not just personality traits that we are drawn to when it comes to picking out that perfect dog. According to the video below, people with long hair generally prefer dogs with long ears!
Regardless of the kind of kindred spirit you are looking for, the best thing to remember when looking for a dog is that when it comes to unconditional love, usually any dog will do!
