Police officers are skilled in many ways, but one trait most possess is the ability to investigate crime scenes. They have to sift through the clues and evidence available to them in the hopes of finding out the truth of the mystery at hand. Investigating the scene of the crime can make all the difference.
Of course, some crimes have to be investigated more thoroughly than others, which is the case for the officer in the video below.
Especially when that "crime" involves his dog and a mutilated stuffed elephant.
"It's February 15th, and we are on the scene of the crime. As you can see, there's multiple lacerations," the officer says in the video, aiming the camera and showing the disarray on the floor.
The butchered remains of a gray stuffed elephant are littered on the floor.
But there is a suspect in the crime.
None other than his dog Kruz, a Doberman pinscher.
Poor Kruz, obviously ashamed at what he's done, is hiding under his mom's arm.
To which the officer says she's "harboring a fugitive."
He then interrogates the pup, who continues to hide his face.
"Let's polygraph him," the officer says, picking up Kruz's paw.
Of course, the entire investigation at the "scene of the crime" is all in good fun, and he quickly pets Kruz and dotes on him, saying "That was your stuffed animal!"
