I have to warn you – this video is not for the faint of heart. I'm sharing it to prove once and for all that animals have souls and can show true compassion, just like humans do.
In this heartbreaking video, a dog tries to wake up his brother who is never waking up. The dog on the left has just passed away and is being prepared for burial, while his brother, the black dog on the right, tries desperately to wake him up.
Another thought that came to mind is that maybe the black dog does understand that his brother has passed and barking is his way of mourning the loss. Either way, this video shows amazing compassion that I've never seen in animals before. Although it is truly heartbreaking, it is somehow touching at the same time.
