Dogs can be very persistent when they want to do something – and that means they won’t take “no” for an answer.
Just look at this dog who refuses to leave his precious rock behind and jumps in the water countless times to save it.
In the video below, Sable the Doberman showcases similar behavior as he tries diligently to get the attention of a horse named Turbo while they’re out in the yard.
Unfortunately for Sable, the horse only wants to play in the fresh snow and has no intention of giving in to the pooch’s request. It’s a completely different reaction than this New York City police officer’s horse, who enjoys the attention he receives from a little French bulldog.
Yet, Turbo’s love for the snow is very obvious – look what he does at the 0:21 mark and again at the 0:42 mark. (I’ve never seen a horse do that before.)
Despite his difficulty, the Doberman still continues his attempt to try and steal the horse’s undivided attention. The dog’s owner even seems a bit worried that he might irritate Turbo.
“Sable, you’re going to get kicked!” he’s heard saying in the video.
