During a recent trip to the shore with his human, Louie proved to be one adventurous dog. In the following video, Louie stands on the edge of the water, clearly anxious to jump in, but he is not just going for a swim. He has someone very important to meet.
Louie begins to wag his tail and get really excited when he sees a pod of dolphins swim by. Louie refuses to be left out of the fun and dives into the water. With a little encouragement from his human, the ambitious pup dog paddles out to sea.
He swims out to greet the dolphins and tries to fit right in with them. He tries to swim as fast as he can to keep up with his new friends.
Dogs and dolphins are known for being very playful and friendly creatures, and this isn't the first time we've seen this type of inter-species friendship. I still can't get over the dolphin who jumped for joy after kissing a dog on a boat.
Louie's owner never expected to see this type of encounter. Thankfully, he had his camera rolling, so we can relive the cuteness all over again! I really love this video.
