Every day, animals are put in dangerous situations where they need the help and care of a human — from being in abusive homes to getting lost in the middle of nowhere.
Take this dog, for example, who was found in extremely poor shape while living on the streets. But thanks to the kind people working at Vet Ranch, the furry friend got a second chance at leading a healthy and happy life.
Speaking of Vet Ranch, more and more stories keep coming out of their incredible efforts to save animal lives whenever they can.
In a video posted on January 11, 2017, we meet Clementine: a dog who was found by animal control in bad shape, lying on the ground and unable to move. After assuming that the poor girl had been hit by a car, rescuers brought Clementine to Vet Ranch for further inspection.
And after taking several X-rays and tests, Clementine's vet was absolutely shocked by what she discovered. They revealed that her pelvis and two of her legs were broken and all out of sorts. The pain Clementine was going through must have been excruciating. However, you would never be able to tell by the sweet behavior of the scared dog.
Vet Ranch knew this canine needed some serious surgery as soon as possible. So her vet got to work on a timeline for getting Clementine through surgery, which was possible thanks to assistance from Mazie's Mission animal hospital.
They focused on surgery for each broken part, allowing for recovery time in between before jumping into the next procedure.
And after three months of that, combined with healing, Clementine blew everyone away with her incredible recovery. You would never know this energetic dog had such serious leg issues with the way she moves!
