For decades, dolls like Cabbage Patch Kids and Barbie have been among some of the most popular toys for children.
Now, Lisa Lee, a resident of Vancouver, Canada, has created a unique take on dolls with her company Leather Monsters. These creative, handmade creatures are made with love and are full of personality.
“Every monster exudes character, quality and charm. Ruggedly handsome, or geekishly smart, leather monsters are an original,” Lee writes on her website. "Why give a toy when you can give a Leather Monster[?] Explore the possibilities of giving stories."
The Little Monsters, which range from $58–98, come in all shapes and are stuffed with polyester fiberfill. Customers can even have their Little Monster custom made.
Unlike many other toys, they are durable enough to be passed down to the next generation.
