Paige Kirk is a 23-year-old woman living in Sydney, Australia.
According to the BBC, Paige and her fiancé Steven have known each other for five years and have been together for three.
The duo married early in September 2017 after planning a unique wedding to reflect their own quirky chemistry!
At the ceremony, Paige and her three bridesmaids started off the day with traditional wedding bouquets.
The beautiful floral arrangements were certainly eye-catching, and Paige even wore a matching flower crown!
But Paige's three friends never expected the surprise she had in store.
Paige's bridesmaids were totally floored when she surprised them with replacement bouquets — made out of donuts.
The beautiful, sugary arrangements were even decorated in ivory toppings to match Paige's dress.
Apparently, the bridesmaids had no idea about Paige's plan ahead of time.
Dessert Boxes (the company that made the sweet treats and shared the photos of Paige and her bridal party) also posted a video of the moment Paige told her ladies that they'd be holding donut bouquets instead.
Clearly, the bridesmaids were tickled by the surprise and even jokingly asked if they could eat them. (Paige's answer was a stern, "Don't eat it.")
When Paige walked down the aisle with her unusual bouquet, her guests thought the idea was absolutely hilarious.
Just look at the facial expressions of the standing guests — especially that guy on the right!
"Me and my husband Steven thought it would be different, fun and light hearted," Paige explained to the BBC.
"Everyone thought it was hilarious, and the venue couldn't believe it. […] We wanted the wedding to be a bit different and really reflect who we are as a couple."
Based on how viral her story has gone, it's safe to say that people are really responding to the donut bouquet — maybe it'll even be the next big wedding trend!
Can you imagine swapping out a regular bouquet for one made of donuts on your wedding day?
