Prepare to be hooked from the start. In December of 2014, the DueTeam of Perm, Russia, took the stage at the 2014 WDSF World Formation Latin finals in Bremen, Germany, and gave the other teams a run for their money. Instead of going the traditional route, this group decided to impress the judges with a full-blown dance medley set to music from the TV show, Glee. These sixteen amazing dancers managed to include a wide variety of styles — like salsa, tango, waltz, jive, and rumba — all into one incredible live performance.
The thing I love most about this performance is the fun and playful song list, from "Ice, Ice Baby," by Vanilla Ice, to "I'm Still Standing" by Elton John, to "La Isla Bonita" by Madonna. As you'll see, their routine combines effortless synchronization, awesome choreography, and non-stop physical stamina. Can you imagine the amount of time and effort that went into practicing this to perfection?! I have no idea how these guys and gals stay so perfectly in sync and energized the whole way through, but this is certainly the most mesmerizing thing I’ve seen in a long time.
