Chick-fil-A hostess Sheila Davis is always ready to help her customers, checking to see if they need anything or if she can assist them in any way. But it was one elderly man, sitting alone in the restaurant, who grabbed her attention.
As reported by Sue Straughn for WEAR, she asked him if he needed anything, and he replied that he didn't. But she noticed the barbecue sauce on his hands and the trash on his table, and helped him clean up.
Sheila even helped the man get his coat on, pulling his arms through the sleeves, and walked him to his car. She talked to him and listened. She learned that his name is F. E. "Gene" Booker.
Her kindness did not go unnoticed. A businesswoman sitting nearby named Carole witnessed the entire interaction and managed to snap a few pictures. She caught the two sitting together, the hostess helping the man with his coat, and the two at his car. She posted the photos on the restaurant's Facebook page, praising Sheila for her service.
Now, those photos have gone viral. But while Sheila is getting praise from all over the country for her touching gesture, she insists that it's just another day on the job.
Please SHARE to thank Sheila and people like her for going above and beyond for those who need it the most!
