We've all been through hard times both on our own and with our families. Sometimes, it seems as if there is no clawing back up the steep cliff, but you have to keep on trying regardless.
It always helps to have a positive beam of light in your life while you're struggling during these times. When there's someone there to help you find that light within yourself, overcoming a tragedy is so much easier.
Ellen DeGeneres is that beam of light for Tayt Andersen and his mother, Chrissy. Andersen was born with a heart defect, among with many other health issues, that made it impossible for him to live what most of us recognize as a normal life. First and foremost, he needed a heart transplant.
While he and his family waited for that defining moment in their lives, Andersen found such a love for Ellen and her positive attitude, as well as her kindness. His love for her got out into the world, and he's become very close with her since first meeting her.
Now that he has a new heart and can address his other medical issues, Ellen wanted to send him on a very special trip to Pixar headquarters for a very exclusive viewing.
The look on his face is priceless… But when Ellen shows him a special blue box? It only gets better.
