Have you ever heard of the false killer whale? Surely, you've heard of his relative, the killer whale, also known as the orca. The false killer whale is actually the third largest member of the oceanic dolphin family!
I've never read too much about the false killer whale, but I had no idea they enjoyed music. One Canadian family found this adorable fact out recently. While visiting the Vancouver Aquarium, the family stopped by this whale's exhibit.
In the video, you can see the whale watching them closely. A woman presses a brown, handmade music box to the glass. While I would never suggest doing something like this, as most aquariums and zoos have signs saying not to touch the glass, the whale's reaction is adorable.
As she winds the box up, a tune begins to play softly. You can see the whale swimming in time with the music. It looks like he is dancing! You have to watch him as he dances to this very sweet lullaby. I love videos like this that show a side of whales we usually never see. It's like this drone camera footage of a Bryde's mama whale feeding her baby whale on the coast of New Zealand.
Don't forget to SHARE this dancing whale with all your friends and family!
