Hope For Paws received a call about a family of four dogs who needed help — Mom and her three puppies were living on a dangerous construction site in Los Angeles. When they arrived to the scene, they began interacting with the adorable youngsters, but couldn't find their mother. The dogs were starving, and eager for some food from these kind saviors. Finally, Mom emerged from a small pipe and the rescuers began the difficult challenge of capturing all the puppies and placing them in the safety of their rescue van.
Once all four pups were rescued, the surprising truth came out. You see, everyone assumed it was the mom who had been caring for the three little pups in the steel yard — when in fact, it was Dad all along! We typically see mother dogs caring for their stray kids, so to see a father taking such good care of his puppies is truly remarkable. The mother was never seen on-site, but the workers have promised to call Hope For Paws if she's spotted.
Yep, it was the doting dad who'd been taking such good care of the three puppies all along. Animals never cease to surprise us with their compassion and selflessness. Now the entire family is getting ready to find their forever homes, happy and healthy!
