It's always amazing to see kids stepping up in times of struggle.
They have a knack for maintaining their innocence while still comprehending a tragedy and trying their best to fix things.
And the thing about kids is that when they try to fix things it truly is the thought that counts.
Their kind spirit overshadows that actions and brings a warmth like nothing else can during even the toughest of times.
It's something so special to witness and, as a parent, even greater to feel even the least bit responsible for.
There's no parental pride like that which comes from watching your kid be the source of comfort and joy for someone in need.
It's the true sign of a child well-raised and a job well done.
And it's exactly this type of pride that Jackie Stempin Vanzyll was feeling when her 4-year-old daughter Becca hopped in her Barbie car and drove to the rescue after a fire took everything from their neighbors.
And Becca didn't drive over empty-handed. She was sure to load up the car with a bunch of toys for the kids to play with since all of theirs were gone.
A GoFundMe page has since been set up to raise money for the affected family to replace some of what they lost.
