Dogs and cats are usually at odds, and that's definitely no secret.
The fluffy species just don't see eye-to-eye: they're the ultimate frenemies, and they always seem to be getting on each other's nerves.
Even cats and dogs who live together sometimes have spats and play fights, just like this furry brown kitty who clearly scares his playful dog partner.
However, there are a few kitties and doggies out there that actually get along — in fact, they even enjoy each other's company!
This is usually the case for rescue animals who have been through abusive situations; animals seem to sense when they need to care for one another.
In the video below, an adorable golden retriever is busy sharing his bed with some new additions to the family: two tiny 5-week-old foster kittens!
The pup seems more than happy to share his space with the kitties. He welcomes them to their new temporary home.
Even when the two get feisty and begin to play wrestle, which is likely not very comfy for the golden, he remains cuddled up with them. Now that's one patient friend!
