The simple act of seeking refuge turned into a nightmare for one woman on a cold, wet night in Florence, KY.
After climbing into a dumpster to stay dry and warm, this woman was shaken awake by a garbage truck lifting the entire apparatus up and spilling the contents into its depths. It happened quickly, and the woman was left to scream for her life before the truck's many moving parts could do any serious damage.
As the truck had just started its route, the driver didn't use the compactor, which would've been potentially fatal for the woman in the back.
When the driver got out of the garbage truck to open a gate before his next pick up, he heard screaming from the back of the truck.
Sure enough, he found the woman trapped back there and was able to call for help to get the woman out.
She was removed from the truck without any serious harm coming to her.
It was an unfortunate incident for everyone involved and, without a few strokes of luck, could have been much worse.
Thankfully, everyone walked away just fine, and there was no permanent damage done.
This is definitely one of those situations when you are thankful for these miracles during our times of need.
