I Thought It Was Just A Normal Slice Of Cake, The Truth is WAY More Fun!

I have a shameful confession: I love candy. A lot. When it comes to sweet treats, my palette is comparable to that of a five-year-old's — with the exception that I am an adult, so no one's around to tell me "no" or "eat a vegetable."

So you can imagine my excitement when I saw this amazing tutorial. I thought it couldn't get better than this huge Twix bar, but this Snickers recipe really takes the cake.

However, be warned: This tutorial is really great, so you might have a lot of giant candy bars in your future. Now, I know that it's a little complicated, but I'm just impressed someone thought of this!

If you're feeling like taking on a big project, I've taken the liberty of breaking down the ingredients for you here, so if you enjoy the video, here is what you'll need:

Caramel Recipe:

  • 1 cup glucose or corn syrup
  • 1 cup cream (35% fat)
  • 1/2 cup full cream or whole milk
  • 1 1/2 cups caster or superfine sugar
  • 12.35 oz. peanuts, roasted

Nougat Recipe:

  • 2 Tbsp. glucose syrup or corn syrup
  • 2 cups caster sugar or superfine sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1/4 cup smooth peanut butter
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
