5-Year-Old Starts Her Own Business To Help Brother With Rare Kidney Disease

Every parent knows that kids have big hearts. They know how to spread love and happiness to those who surround them, regardless of differences between them and others.

Just check out this little girl, who stunned her mother by giving a crying homeless man money and a cool drink of water on a hot day. Mom was so taken aback by her daughter's selflessness and charity that she had to snap a picture of the moment.

Little Isla Stadler is only 5 years old. She most likely doesn't understand the severity or the specifics of her little brother's rare kidney disease, but she knows in her heart that she needs to do all she can to try to help him out.

This little entrepreneur started her own little business in West Seneca, NY, growing produce and making baked goods and selling them. Her little bundles may only sell for $2 a bag, but all the proceeds are going to a very personal cause.

All the proceeds, which her parents plan to match, will be donated to a team of researchers that is developing a device that will stop the reoccurrence of this disease in donor kidneys. For 3-year-old Arlo, finding a kidney donor will be difficult enough.

But with the chance that this new kidney would be affected by the disease, too, he is not the ideal recipient.

Isla's mission, The Kidney Project, may have an impact on patients all over the country, but it's the cause close to her heart that's driving this little girl's ambition!

Please SHARE if you know someone who would love to help Isla out in a big way!
