Gordon Ramsay Reveals The #1 Trick To Make Perfect Scrambled Eggs: Not What You Think!

Whenever Gordon Ramsay interviews a new cook in his restaurant, he asks them to make some scrambled eggs. He says that a cook's ability to make scrambled eggs instantly shows how good or bad they are in the kitchen. Well, this video will show you how to make a scrambled egg meal that even Ramsay will love!

Love him or hate him, the man knows his way around a kitchen. Whether he's screaming at adults or yelling at small children, Ramsay is certainly passionate about what he does and what he loves most in the world: cooking delicious meals!

In this video, Chef Ramsay shows you the best way to make the perfect breakfast using just a few fresh ingredients. While we can't all be master chefs, like the nine-year-old wunderkind in this amazing video, at the very least we'll now be able to make the perfect breakfast in bed for our loved ones. Just follow these simple steps:

  • Start off with three eggs and do not season them right away.
  • Add butter at the beginning to give your egg a velvety finish.
  • Only whisk the egg when it’s being heated — pre-whisking breaks it down too early.
  • Do not stop stirring.
  • When the egg starts to get a bit thick, take it off the heat, and then put it back on.
  • When you’re nearing the end, take it off the burner and let the heat of the pan continue to cook it.

While most of these suggestions were new to me, it was at the 2:57 mark in this video that Gordon Ramsay completely made me rethink everything about how to cook good scrambled eggs. I never would have thought to add this odd ingredient, but it definitely worked out for him and the meal looks delicious. Can you imagine waking up to this on a Sunday morning?
