Knowing it's time to send a beloved pet off to greener pastures in the sky is a very difficult decision. As dog owners, we all know this day would eventually come, but it doesn't make the decision any less heartbreaking.
In February of 2015, a grandmother had to put down her sick 10-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and was understandably heartbroken. So, she and her mom decided to change and brighten up Grandma's life forever — surprise her with a new puppy.
When her family walks into her kitchen and hands her the adorable puppy, she is so dumbfounded — the look on her face is priceless! She even starts to cry, overwhelmed with joy! It’s definitely love at first sight for both Grandma and her new baby girl, who made sure to hold her close. You can see she's still reeling from losing her older dog, but that there's another dog who now needs her love and devotion.
Note: There was so much excitement in the room, hence the reason the family's other dog is in her crate. I think it's impossible to watch this bittersweet video without getting teary-eyed.
