When a woman dressed her son in a shirt that said "brother," she thought her mom would notice right away. Though it was meant to be a cute way to announce her pregnancy to her parents, they were completely oblivious until it was pointed out to them. The woman, Lee Buona, posted a video of the pregnancy reveal on Instagram.
The video is fairly short — but she shared that it's actually an edited version. "The full video was 4 minutes you guys lol. It took them FOUR MINUTES before figuring it out ♀️ ♀️," she captioned the video.
Lee and her husband Alex tried to draw attention to their son's outfit multiple times. At the beginning of the video, Lee says, "Say, ‘Grandma, grandpa, what do you think of my new outfit?’” to her son, Oakland.
"Oh, look at that outfit!" Lee's dad says, clearly not that interested in the outfit.
In the video, Lee's parents are eating dinner and are not paying attention to Oakland's outfit, so she and her husband try to make it more obvious to them.
First, Lee tells Oakland to sit on his grandpa's lap, but her parents still don't notice what the shirt says. Then she tells Oakland to ask his grandparents what they think of his outfit.

Her husband tries to spell it out for them by holding Oakland up in front of them and telling them to look at his sweater.
They still don't catch on. "What does it say?” Lee's mom asks. “I can’t read. It’s all folded over!”
Finally, Alex puts Oakland on the table right in front of his grandparents so they can see the shirt clearly. “Really!?” Lee's mom finally reacted. “Oh my God! Congratulations!” (Her dad was still confused for a bit before he realized what was happening).
