Getting older is something that lots of people dread. Once we reach a certain age, some of develop an "it's all downhill from here" mentality that often makes us take things for granted.
However, after a while, many people start to realize that making it into old age is a blessing, and celebrating each new year of life becomes something to look forward to. With that being said, for many people, celebrating a birthday is equivalent to celebrating a major holiday.
Sadly, for one grandmother, when her birthday rolled around, she felt herself feeling a little neglected by those closest to her. But just when she thought no one was going to do anything special for her birthday, her grandson presented her with an incredible surprise.
Not only did he make her a very cool cake, but he also enlisted one of his friends to write and perform a song in honor of his grandmother's birthday, and they even made a video to go along with it!
Not only was the song creative and heartfelt, but it was also incredibly beautiful. When this sweet grandmother heard her special song, she couldn't help but to get a little emotional. It looks like her family remembered her birthday after all, and this is one that none of them will ever forget.
