David and Gretta have been married for 30 years, but something is coming in between the couple.
Anyone who is married knows that no marriage is perfect and every one of them has their ups and downs. For David and Gretta, it's Gretta's love of crafts. The mother and horse rancher has turned their home into a cluttered mess of beads, bits, and bobs. And David is fed up.
"My wife Gretta she loves her crafts. She is a great wife, a great mother… but she loves crafts. I don't share that same love," David told FABLife. Gretta likes to make necklaces, to make bracelets… In the morning, I'll come down to have a cup of coffee and I'll have to look for a place because it's not for coffee anymore. I love my wife dearly, but her crafts I don't love."
That's when David got the big idea to reach out to FABLife for their 30th anniversary. He had a feeling the old shed in their backyard might be the solution…
David's wife Gretta loves her crafts. She loves them so much that David can't walk around his house without tripping over a few. While David likes to joke about "kicking" his wife out of the house, the good news is David loves Gretta as much as she loves her crafts.
Their entire home is completely cluttered with beads, sewing tools, and materials. For their 30th anniversary, David decided to enlist the help of a few folks at FABLife.
Here's the other thing, David was joking about kicking his wife out of the house, but he always was serious about ending the craft clutter menace. The couple have an old shed that isn't really being used and thought it would make a great craft room or "she shed" for Gretta.
However, when FABLife designer Lauren Makk showed up, the shed was literally falling apart!
The designer decided to give the pair the 30th anniversary surprise of their lives by building an entirely new shed from scratch!
