This dog needs a little bit of help with his poker face!
We all have our little "tells" when we're trying to weasel our way out of a situation or convince someone of our innocence, but unfortunately for our furry friends, they're a little bit more obvious. While some experts claim that canines can't feel emotions like guilt, when you look into the eyes of a dog who just made a huge mess, there is no denying that they know they did something wrong.
Growing up, whenever my family's basset hound would use the bathroom in the house, he would put his head down and shove his tail between his legs, acting ashamed, before we even found the mess. Dogs can be pretty obvious when it comes to showing their guilty side, but the Great Dane in this next video might just win the award for the most telling response of all.
In the following video, Seven the Great Dane's owner wakes up from a peaceful nap to total chaos in her home. Someone spread trash all over the kitchen…and the only one home was Seven. However, when Seven's mom asked the dog about the mess, he knew exactly what to do… deny everything and make a run for it!
