Halle Berry and her ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubrey welcomed their daughter Nahla in 2008. Their relationship ended and they entered into a dramatic custody battle that left Halle paying $16,000 a month to Gabriel until those payments were halved in 2021.
Despite the ups and downs, it's clear that both of Nahla's parents love her and that Halle has never been happier. Halle recently shared previously unseen photos of Nahla online to mark her 15th birthday.
Halle posted the photos on March 16, 2023. She captioned the post, "One of the greatest gifts the universe has given me is my daughter, Nahla. She is the sun that never fades and the moon that never wanes! Please join me in wishing her a happy 15th Birthday today! I love you sweet angel ."
The carousel of photos features three images: the first is a framed photo of Halle and Nahla from the past, the second is a snap of the pair on a boat, and the third is a photo of 15-year-old Nahla sitting on the couch, her face partially obscured by a hat.

Halle recently shared in an interview with AARP Magazine that things are really good for her right now. As she put it, "For the first time in my life, everything is firing on all cylinders."
Halle added, "I really believe I've found my person. My son Maceo on his own did this little commitment ceremony for us in the back seat of the car. I think he finally sees me happy, and it's infectious. It was his way of saying, 'This is good. This makes me happy.'"
