I am not a big fan of technology. Sure, it has its many uses — and yes, I am currently writing this from a computer — but if I had to choose, I'd much rather live off-the-grid.
Not only would it be much more peaceful to live amongst nature, but I would feel better about my impact on the planet.
And with all of the incredible houses out there, especially those with environmental footprints as tiny as their square footage, the idea is becoming all the more appealing.
But until I saw this particular little cabin, I had no idea just how peaceful and idyllic tiny house living could be!
Sure, I've seen some very sweet little houses — like this colorful tiny house with a very innovative design — but the natural beauty of this house is by far my favorite look.

Far back in the woods of Westhampton, MA, in a clearing called Moose Meadow, there sits a tiny house that seems like something from a fairytale.

Dubbed the "Hermit's Hut," this rustic getaway is the perfect place to disconnect from our busy, fast-paced world.

The tiny house, affectionately considered "primitive" by its owners, is comfortable and well-loved. It's obvious that it's seen its fair share of happy guests.

As one former visitor wrote, "What a special place! We had a wonderful time walking around the property, roasting food over the campfire and reading by candlelight."

Another guest commented, "Between afternoon naps on the hammock and wandering around the grounds, we wish we could have visited much longer."

Considering that it's nestled on 103 acres of land, it's no wonder why the Hermit's Hut is so popular with travelers.

Not only is it completely surrounded by nature, it's also entirely off-the-grid. It even features an old-fashioned outhouse!

Miles of clear paths surround the house, perfect for soaking in all the beautiful sights and sounds of nature.

Wildlife abounds on the all-natural property. Whitetail deer, moose, turkeys, and owls are just a few examples of the creatures guests can encounter.

Looking to step off the paths? The Chesterfield Gorge is located just 15 miles from the house.

With its country charm and fairytale trappings, it's no wonder the Hermit's Hut is so beloved by all who visit.
