Upon graduating high school, you think about everything you can accomplish with the rest of your life. You have college to look forward to, and then your first job. And then eventually, you'll travel the world, and then you will probably have a family. Anything seems possible after the chains of high school are broken.
But when you think about what you're leaving behind, you probably don't realize these early years were your most formative ones. You could have met your best friend in your youth. You undoubtedly learned valuable lessons, and made some mistakes. But you'll remember the people you met during those years for many more to come.
Hopefully the alumni of Patterson High School in Maryland all remembered one another, or else the 70th anniversary of their high school reunion would have been a little awkward! Many of the alumni, who are all nearing their 90s, came together for a meal to reminisce about the old days and their time together. Many didn't move very far from the school, but each went their own separate way. These sprightly seniors certainly have a lot of stories to tell about their high school days!
