Country music singer Hillary Scott was on her way to Dallas when the tour bus she was traveling in suddenly caught fire. Everyone on the bus, including her husband, manager, and the driver, were luckily able to evacuate safely.
But, there was one more thing that left Scott even more stunned: Everything in the back of the vehicle was destroyed, except for her bible.
“The outside cover was burned and messed up but NOT ONE PAGE was missing,” the Lady Antebellum singer wrote on Instagram along with a photo of the religious book. “God's Word will always stand. He is FOR YOU, WILL PROTECT YOU, AND HIS LOVE FOR YOU WILL NEVER FADE.”
Like Scott, many others believe in the power of prayer. For example, Grayson Kirby and his family feel that their prayers are the only reason he survived a scary car accident. A mother named Joyce also started praying for her son, despite the fact that he was dead for 45 minutes after falling in an icy lake. He then miraculously got a pulse back.
Scott left her followers with one more message: “My faith is forever deepened because of today. I hope this story deepens yours.”

Here's a photo she shared of the tour bus after the fire.
"It was me, my husband, our tour manager, and driver. Thanking God for our safety and the safety of all of those who helped put this fire out and keep us safe," she wrote.
Although everything in the back of the bus burned, her Bible didn't.
"My faith is forever deepened because of today. I hope this story deepens yours," she wrote.
