The Diergaarde Blijdorp zoo in the Netherlands is home to many wild animals including two very helpful hippos and one lucky duckling.
In the video, a tiny duckling had wandered away from his mom and wanted to check out the pool. After landing in the water and splashing around, the duck realized he couldn't fly out. To make it even worse, he'd flown in the the hippo pool!
One onlooker at the zoo turned on her camera and captured the moment on camera, as two large hippos started swimming towards the baby duck. At first it looks like the duck might be in danger, but in reality, the two hippos are actually swimming over to help the little guy.
The baby duck seems a little hesitant to get close to the hippos and frantically flap its wings trying to get out of the pool. But in the end, the hippos really just want to help the baby and discover a way to help him out.
This story also shows how one can sometimes find help in the most unlikely places — like this lifeless sea turtle who was brought back to life after a man gave him CPR!
You'll have to see what the hippos do to help the duckling, but it's so sweet. And just wait until you see his reaction when he's finally reunited with his mom and other duckling siblings.
