It sounds like a start of a joke: A horse walks into the police station… But it really happened! The Cheshire police in the United Kingdom by taken by surprise when the unexpected visitor strolled right into the station. Although one officer tried to shoo the horse back outside, his attempts were ignored.
The horse casually walked by the police officer and made himself at home. Security cameras caught the whole encounter, showing the animal "horsing around" before he gets escorted home.
After the incident, the police station's spokesman released this cheeky statement: "We were somewhat saddled with our unexpected guest, who in the early hours of the morning quickly became the mane event of the night shift. We like to ensure a warm welcome to all our guests at HQ, and at neigh point did the horse pose a risk to security and appeared to be a well cared for animal."
