Aaron Hulce wasn't home when a wildfire came blazing up the hill near his house in Oregon. His neighbors alerted him to the fire, which ultimately destroyed two acres of nearby forest.
The flames were quickly closing in on his house — and Aaron knew his wife, Sarah, was home asleep in their bedroom at the time.
Aaron felt so helpless as he rushed back home in his truck, imagining the worst possible scenario.
That's when he remembered their Ring camera system came with an intercom he could utilize to try to wake her up and warn her.
Since they'd never used the intercom feature before, Aaron knew he needed to yell as loud as he possibly could.
“Wake up, Sarah!” he repeatedly screamed at the top of his lungs, hoping his voice would reach from the living room downstairs to the room where she slept.
Watch how it unfolded (and thank goodness it worked!) in the dramatic video.
