Who would've thought seeing someone count to 20 could be this entertaining?
John-John Williams was one of the adorable kids featured on the longtime children's program Sesame Street. The New York City native, who made his debut when he was 2 back in 1971, was known for his great memory and plump cheeks.
He also had some memorable moments on the show that are still a treat to watch decades later. The clip below, shared on Sesame Street's YouTube channel, is undoubtedly one of those moments — and we're sure you'll agree after watching it.
In the old-school clip, John-John appears with Herry Monster and is tasked to count to 20. Just like the toddler dancing to Bruno Mars’ single “Uptown Funk" and the young dancer who nailed an Aretha Franklin impersonation, John-John is bold, lively, and downright hilarious.
Not only does the charming tot insist on going first, he starts getting very excited when he gets to 14.
What's also impressive about little John-John is how he communicates with the puppet.
"I think what they liked was that I communicated with the Muppets with eye contact, like they were humans," Williams, who later joined the Air Force, told the Chicago Tribune in 1998.
