For nearly 12 years, Tamandra and her "heart dog" Borias were inseparable. He was her soulmate, her guide dog, and her best friend. After a battle with cancer, Borias passed away leaving Tamandra wondering if she could ever bond with another dog again. Wheelchair bound and a lover of dogs, Tamandra knew she she had to try and when she was ready was introduced to Justice Tru, a German Shepherd just like Borias.
Through the force-free and relationship-based style of training, Justice Tru quickly latched on to Tamandra's needs. Just like Borias, Justice seemed to pick up and tune in to every single one of Tamandra's emotions. The two bonded almost instantaneously and, in just a few short months, he has become her guide dog, playmate, and best friend.
While one of Borias' favorite things to do with Tamandra was to pull her on her wheelchair, with the breeze flowing through both of their hairs, Justice took his own approach to traveling with his master. Instead of pulling Tamandra, Justice one day walked around her chair and pushed his nose in between her shoulder blades. Tamandra quickly realized that her new dear friend came up with his own way to help her get around.
Watching these two bond is an amazing sight to see and one that will warm your heart.
