Christine Baumgartner, the soon-to-be ex-wife of Kevin Costner, has requested that the actor make a monthly payment of $248K for child support. The 40-year-old recently filed for divorce after more than 18 years of marriage. They share three teenage kids.
The signed declaration states that Christine wants Kevin to continue covering the cost of their children's private school tuition, extracurriculars, and health care expenses. Their kids are 16, 14, and 13.
Christine claims she has no income and has been a stay-at-home mom since the birth of their first child. As she quoted, "marital lifestyle, including that of the children, was consistent with Kevin’s longterm exceedingly high-income."

According to Kevin, Christine has refused to move out of their home since filing for divorce. Prior to their marriage, they signed a prenup stating that their Santa Barbara-area home was his property and a premarital asset.
"I realize that our lifestyle is extraordinary. I appreciate how very blessed we are to live this way," she shared. "It’s important to not only to provide a warm and comfortable home for our children but to also teach them family values and gratitude."
